This role involves reading patient records and clinical correspondence and converting the information into alphanumeric codes which are entered onto the patient’s electronic record. This allows healthcare professionals to see and retrieve information easily from the patient’s record.
Your role may involve:
- Reviewing patient records and correspondence and summarising diagnoses and treatments
- Data entry onto clinical records

Entry requirements and skills:
No set formal qualifications are required, but you will need to demonstrate:
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Strong IT skills, and/or relevant work experience
