Prescription Clerks work as part of the practice team, supporting clinicians in the management and preparation of prescriptions as well as liaising with patients about their prescriptions. Dealing with patient records, and data entry, are essential parts of this role.
Your role may involve:
- Managing prescription requests
- Generating repeat prescriptions
- Dealing with patient enquiries about their prescriptions

Entry requirements and skills:
You will need to demonstrate:
- English and Maths GCSE, grade B or equivalent
- Good numeracy, literacy and IT skills
- Good customer service skills
