Helping people with physical problems caused by injury, illness, disability or ageing. Physiotherapists use a variety of techniques to maximise the health and well-being of their patients.

Physiotherapists:

  • Maximise movement through exercise and massage
  • Promote good health
  • Advise on how to avoid injury

Entry requirements:

  • 2/3 A levels, 5 GCSEs (A-C), including relevant science subjects or alternative qualifications (eg, BTEC, HND, HNC, relevant NVQs) to qualify for a Physiotherapy undergraduate degree course
  • You must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
