Mid and South Essex STP have the pleasure of inviting applications from staff working within the local system to join one of the next three local cohorts of this long-established leadership development programme, starting in January, March and May 2020 respectively.
Mary Seacole is run by the NHS Leadership Academy and is aimed at first time leaders in healthcare.
The programme, which was designed by the NHS Leadership Academy in partnership with global experts, Korn Ferry Hay Group, to develop knowledge and skills in leadership and management, runs over 4-5 months and is ideal for individuals stepping into their first leadership role or who are already undertaking such role and looking for formal development alongside it.
More about the programme can be found on the Leadership Academy Website
Applications are encouraged from local primary care staff and expressions of interest together with a completed requests for CPD funding form to cover the £250 cost of participation, should be directed to primarycare.workforce@nhs.net by Wednesday, 4th December 2019.
Commitment is required from individuals to attend all planned dates of the programme to ensure they undertake the required stages of the programme and are able to complete the programme successfully. Line managers are encouraged to discuss with staff and ensure they are aligned to individual personal development plans and talent discussions. Additional study time may be required for online learning and this should be considered in your discussions.
